Hey Sharon, how are you today? I'm good. How are you doing? I'm good. I'm good. We're excited to be together again today, although we're not really together. As you can see, I'm in California and you're in Bloorville. I hope you're not really in California. No, no, just kind of wishing that I had that sunset and the water in the background. I understand. I totally agree with you. So why don't you tell our viewers what we're doing today. Yeah, so today kicks off something that you and I have been very excited about for a long time. And this is our series on 1099 and CRNAs transitioning to 1099, which you have done, which Sarah, my wife has done, of which I do every day for CRNAs all across the country. So we thought, who better to put together this whole presentation from soup to nuts on why, what the industry looks like, where we're going, and the ins and outs, and even some tax information that people can use in our own particular situation. Lots of tax information. We've been monitoring the issue boards, the different places on Facebook to see what questions CRNAs repeatedly answer. We've kept a record of those. And, you know, Jeremy truly is an expert on all of this. He's helped me navigate through this painfully at times. Luckily, I've had him to help keep me from making mistakes, but every CRNA is not as fortunate as I am. So to make a long story short, we decided to put together this online curriculum that you are tapping into right now. And we're going to take a look at all of these issues. This is a really value packed product, I guess you could say, that we've put together. You'll have handouts, you'll have PowerPoint lectures. We've went to other industry experts and had them give us expert information for this. And then we'll just be, Sharon and I, there'll be other people involved in the project. And, you know, by the time you get done with this, you're probably going to know more than you want to know about it. They can go back to it and say, gosh, Sharon, I remember them talking about the difference between a simplified employee pension, a solo 401k. And I remember saying something about, well, maybe I should do the solo 401k, but what was it? And they can go back to it and kind of review that again. You know, it might be that they're trying to get credentialed somewhere and they want the ins and outs of credentialing. It might be something that, you know, they're interested in, you know, the opportunities to be an independent contractor CRNA and do your own billing as well. There'll be a section on that. So it really will be very comprehensive soup to nuts of everything you need to be thinking about as you transition. You know, one of the biggest things that I see for CRNAs out there is benefits. What do I do for benefits and how do we set that up? And we'll discuss that and make sure that they're thinking about those job opportunities correctly. Sharon, you and I went through this when you were transitioning. Well, we want to do with this too, is we have, we've done a lot of podcasts on this. So they are linked in here. So you do not have to go looking for those. We wanted something to be auditory. So if you wanted to go out and walk and listen, or if you wanted to listen while you're driving. And actually this online curriculum came about because whenever I went back to school, I thought I was going to hate an online curriculum, but I could keep going back if you're in a traditional classroom and we do workshops. But if you're there, you only get one opportunity to get this information and this will be yours to keep coming back to. And another part of this is that, you know, we'll have our experts available at certain times for people to reach out and ask questions to as well. So it will be a comprehensive package and opportunity. And oh, by the way. They will also be getting Class A CE credits for this as well through ANA and NBCRNA. So we'll allude to that a little further down the road here. But, you know, the idea here is to teach yourself the ins and outs. And, you know, we have a lot of CRNAs that don't understand what it means to be 1099. And they're confused by it, which keeps a lot of CRNAs on the sidelines. I think there's a lot of opportunities out there right now, but they don't do it because no one's ever taught them how to do it. Are you looking at me? Are you looking at me? Well, we know there's a lot of information out there around these topics. You know, I see it on the Facebook groups. You know, I know people talk in the OR. But one thing that I find is one, a lot of that information isn't correct. There are people out there giving information that probably shouldn't be given information. And we want to make sure that we're giving the correct information to all CRNAs who are looking at this opportunity to help them and their family. And we'll even discuss that, you know, the reasonings behind transition to 1099, the future of the industry, what that looks like, and so forth. So I'm really excited about it, Sharon. I think this is something you and I wanted to put together for the last couple of years, and we're finally getting here. And I think it's going to just be an amazing opportunity for CRNAs to teach themselves how to do this. So stay tuned and go to the next module, and we will start teaching you everything you need to know about transitioning to 1099. That's right. But we do want to give it a little bit of a disclaimer, Sharon. We are not giving tax, financial, or legal advice in anything we do. Just want everybody to know and understand that. We're going to give you the tools out there, but you do need to seek your own counsel to put it in your particular situation, whether that be your attorney, CPA, your accountant, your financial advisor, whoever else is helping you tailor your particular situation. We are not giving you any advice. We're just giving you the information, and then you can put it into play in your own situation. So stay tuned.
