Explain scientific and philosophic underpinnings of nurse anesthesia education.
Justify the importance of compliance with institutional, state, and federal educational laws, policies, and/or standards.
Discuss the importance of course and curriculum content alignment with COA Standards and NBCRNA national certification exam eligibility.
Construct exam items that utilize best practices for item writing and align with the NBCRNA national certification exam.
Apply psychometrics to evaluate exam items.
Identify the appropriate methods to assess didactic knowledge and clinical competence (technical skills).
Integrate strategies for effective and appropriate written and verbal communication.
Apply strategies to provide effective advising and mentoring.
