Intraoperative Hemodynamics: Mastering Advanced Monitoring In Action In-person Workshop Digital Badge
This digital badge is only available to those that attended the in-person workshop at Annual Congress 2025 and completed the three online modules. The digital badge will only be distributed to attendees who complete all 7 hours of Class A content (3 online modules and the in-person component), and successfully submit all evaluations associated with the workshop, online modules, and overall Annual Congress.
Intraoperative hypotension (IOH) remains a prevalent issue, affecting 19.3% to 88% of surgical cases and contributing to severe complications such as acute kidney injury and increased mortality. Despite these risks, management strategies vary significantly due to a lack of consensus on optimal fluid and vasopressor use, leading to inconsistent practices and modifiable risks. Many Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) are unaware of the recently released APSF recommendations, which emphasize early detection and evidence-based management strategies. Additionally, CRNAs often lack advanced skills in hemodynamic monitoring and techniques like goal-directed therapy (GDT), further hindering standardization of care. Targeted education is urgently needed to address these gaps, ensuring CRNAs are equipped to improve patient safety and outcomes through consistent, evidence-based practices.
Learn valuable insights into the latest evidence-based practices for prevention and treatment, including advanced hemodynamic monitoring techniques, individualized blood pressure management strategies, and the appropriate use of fluids and vasopressors. Such knowledge is essential for improving patient safety and outcomes, as proper management of IOH can significantly reduce postoperative complications and mortality.
This course is sponsored by an educational grant provided by BD.
The achievement will include a digital badge, which is a visual representation of this achievement, signifying that you have obtained a level of knowledge. Digital badges can be found
