The research highlights gaps in the current understanding of which patients and procedures benefit most from propofol-based interventions, pointing to a need for more targeted, effective prophylactic strategies.

1. Evaluate the effectiveness of propofol infusion (TIVA and CIVA) on reduing postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in patients undergoing general anesthesia.
2. Analyze the impact of patient demographics, surgery duration, and interaction with antiemetic agents on the efficacy of propofol in managing PONV.
