This module is recognized by the NBCRNA. 

This purpose of this activity is to enhance the knowledge in basic and advanced airway management instrumentation and techniques; to enhance in-depth understanding of and provide learning experiences in the difficult airway algorithm as a standard of care; and to enhance in-depth understanding of and provide learning experiences in airway management complications.

Learning Outcome(s):
  1. Recognize and respond with the appropriate instrumentation and techniques with regard to airway management in accordance with evidence-based practices. 
  2. Anticipate, identify, and manage patients with a potentially difficult airway in accordance with the difficulty airway algorithm. 
  3. Recognize and respond to airway management complications in accordance with evidence-based practice. 

This program has been prior approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology for 2.00 Class A CE credits; Code Number 1038797; Expiration Date 8/31/2025.

The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
