Despite the growing legalization and use of marijuana, many healthcare providers, including CRNAs, are underprepared to manage its effects during surgery, which can lead to complications and compromised patient safety​​. 

Learning Outcome(s):

1. Understand the perioperative risks and physiological side effects of marijuana use in patients undergoing endosurgical procedures.
2. Increase CRNAs' confidence and knowledge in managing anesthesia for patients who use marijuana, focusing on safe practices and complication mitigation. 

This program has been prior approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology for 1.00 Class A CE credits; Code Number 1045258; Expiration Date 2/12/2028. AANA designates this program as meeting the criteria for up to 1.0 CE Credits in pharmacology/therapeutics.
