Anesthesiology professionals are at high risk for substance misuse due to stress, access to addictive medications, and environmental exposure. With nearly 15% affected and a mortality rate of 26-38%, it is crucial to address this issue. This course equips professionals with the knowledge to recognize and report substance misuse and drug diversion, helping to create a safer work environment and meet educational standards set by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
