This course offers a comprehensive review of vertebral column anatomy with a focus on clinical relevance for neuraxial anesthesia. Participants will explore the structural features of vertebrae, spinal ligaments, meninges, nerve pathways, and the epidural and subarachnoid spaces. Special emphasis is placed on identifying surface landmarks, understanding the layers encountered during needle advancement, and recognizing anatomical variations that may affect spinal or epidural placement. Designed for anesthesia professionals, this course strengthens anatomical knowledge to improve procedural accuracy and patient safety during central neuraxial blocks.
