Clinical education is an essential component of nurse anesthesia education, which often falls on the staff CRNA educator who is not prepared for the role. Despite the importance of clinical education within the framework of nurse anesthesia educational programs, little has been done to support and educate the CRNA clinical educator. CRNA educators will be able to utilize this content to enhance their didactic and clinical teaching skills related to adult education.

Learning Outcome(s):

1. Describe current evidence-based practices for clinical didactic instruction in nurse anesthesia educational programs. 
2. Understand characteristics of effective teachers in terms of teaching and learning methods. 
3. Develop didactic and clinical education lesson plans, including writing objectives and formatting the lesson.
