Nurse anesthesia educators play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by training and mentoring the next generation of CRNAs. In order to be awarded the Educator Micro-Credential, you must complete all required courses:
  • Educator Series: Priciples and Goals of Writing Curriculum
  • Educator Series: Didactic and Clinical Instruction
  • Educator Series: Effective Evaluation Strategies for Nurse Anesthesia Faculty
  • Constructing the Exam
  • Models, frameworks, and approaches to cultural competence training
  • Compliance in Nurse Anesthesia Education
  • Preceptorship of the CRNA

The micro-credential will include a digital badge, which is a visual representation of this achievement, which, signifying that you have obtained a level of knowledge. Digital badges can be found here or on the left side menu under Digital Badges.

The courses have been prior-approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology. Each individual course contains its accreditation statement, Class A or pharmacology credits, and approval codes.

The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology is accredited with distinction as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
