CRNA/nurse anesthesiologists who believe that their current clinical practice includes or surpasses the competencies described in the Spinal/Epidural with Obstetric Essentials hands-on workshop, and wish to obtain the Obstetric Anesthesia Micro-credential, may apply for a waiver from that workshop requirement. 

To apply for a waiver:

1. Submit a signed letter from one of the following, documenting your active practice in OB anesthesia and your privileges to administer neuraxial anesthesia (spinal, epidural, and combined spinal/ epidural):
   • Department Chair, or
   • Chief CRNA/nurse anesthesiologist, or
   • Facility credentialing department
2. Complete a $200 administrative fee upon submission of the letter
3. Enroll in and complete the Spinal/Epidural with Obstetrics Essentials Workshop Online Bundle modules.

Please note: This waiver only exempts you from the Spinal/Epidural with Obstetrics Essentials Workshop and not the Advanced Obstetrics Workshop.
